I have a 2 year old GE side by side refridgerator with two issues. First, the temperature in the refridgerator has risen a bit for no apparent reason. I turned it up to 6 setting and the thermometer reads 49 degrees. Second, the water dispencer works perfectly at times and other times it stops all together for no apparent reason.

Freezer fan is running, fan in back seems to be running, no frost behind bottom bin in freezer, I feel slight air coming out of plastic grill back top left of fresh food compartment. Additional note: the freezer is not as cold as it should be either. Do you think its a freon issue? Should I just turn the dials up to coldest setting (reluctant to do that because it was fine before at a 5 setting for both sides. Sorry about your Cardinals. However they did kick our ass in 1967.
